Where is the system tray on your computer screen?

I am wanting to watch a webinar and it says to test your webcam, so to the "system tray" and click on * or something like a flower, but I don't see anything like that. Isn't the system tray in the lower right hand corner of the computer screen?

That is correct. How do you normally use the webcam? If you've never used it, are you sure you have one? Some computers supply the camera as an option.
If you know you have one, turn it on for the webinar in the normal way.
