Well, in my school, it's kinda normal for girls to be doing that.. My girl, has done that with her friend, while with me. Recent ex as of today. But I see a lot of people doing it.. What I recommend is that, if it continues to go on, then ask her about it. Don't be ashamed. Everybody has their theories and dreams. Most of them come across that bridge, and fulfill that dream. Well, the thing is I don't want to ask her that and she says no. Then it gets around the school that I like girls. I'm okay with it but I don't want rumors spreading about the whole thing. Plus, I'm afraid of rejection too.
Being scared of rejection is a natural feeling in my opinion. Nobody wants to be turned down from something or someone that they want. If you trust her enough, you can ask her, then ask her once more to keep it between you and her alone. And if you're not okay with the word choices i've made, feel free to change it around (:
