Criminal justice

What resources are associated with criminal justice policy developement? How do these resources impact the developement of criminal justice policy? How can we improve the relationship between fiscal resources and the developement/implementation of criminal justice policy? What are your recommendations?

"Criminal Justice" is a very broad term that includes law enforcement, corrections, the courts, the legal profession and parole and probation. Each of those divisions are represented at the federal, state and local level. Almost all of the fiscal resources are allocated through the budgetary process under that level of government. Identifying "criminal justice policy" in that maze of varying organizations and levels of need would be impossible without common laws and organizational structures; something that has about the same likelihood as locating a pink rooster with teeth. :-)
