The battery on my Samsung phone gets too hot sometimes & shuts my phone off. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Phone battery gets too hot.
About the only thing would be to make sure there's nothing around the battery contacts that could be causing a short like a liquid or a piece of aluminum foil etc. Otherwise you need to take it back where you got it.
