I love my big sister but.

hello I have a sister (i class her as) and I would do anything for her I would kill or take a bullit for her... but what you dont know is she lived in a town (lets call it springfild) for years now her mum got locked up for attemted murder, she has been raped, used to do drugs, steals, police on her door 24/7,being a s/u+ and never there with her family. (like christmas easter and all that)... now she has moved to another town (lets call it dodges) now she has chaged heaps not doing drugs, not going out, only had police at her door 3 times for the last 7 months. but I fould out a big secret that could runen her relashonship with her boyfriend, none of her family talk to her and she is being a s/u+.... now on christmas eve her boyfriend is going to ask her to marry him and she wants me to be there on christmas eve for her but I dont know if I can do it they shouldnt be getting marryed he cheats on her she cheats on him but like I said before I would take a bullit for her cause she would do the same for me I have tolded her I might not be cause of mum but I know I can get mum to let me (im 14 she is 16 this year *2011*) what do I do?

Well, would you take a bullet for her if she's the one with the gun? That's basically what the situation sounds like. It sounds like you're afraid to tell her what you really think about the possible engagement for fear of her reaction.

There's no "only" that goes with "had police at her door 3 times for the last 7 months." While it is an improvement from 24/7, it's still loads of times. It sounds like she's still got so much more work to do on herself before she seals her fate with someone else's.

If you say something to either one of them, I would talk to her, not the bf. She would likely see you talking to him as a betrayal. Maybe say something to her like you want nothing more in the world than for her to be happy. You think it's great that things are getting so much better for her, and in your heart of hearts, you think things will continue to work better for her if she waits on getting married because of _____.
