If I have poison ivy rash and I smoke marijuana at the same time, can it increase the symptoms?

I recently went on a hike with a friend and I got poison ivy. I didn't realize that I had it until the next few days. I smoke marijuana quite often and I realized the other night as I was high that my symptoms due to the poison ivy seem to increase. I felt sick, dizzy, and ultimately I vomited. The next day I smoked again, but not as much and I felt similar to how I did the previous night. I didn't throw up again, but I felt a little light headed and sick, so I decided to stop smoking until my poison ivy has vanished. Is it possible that the two forms of plant consumption (the oils from the poison ivy, and the intake of marijuana) have a reaction with one another while I am high and cause my symptoms to change or worsen? Let me tell you as well that I got the poison ivy in an unfortunate spot and it sucks! I bought some calladryl lotion to help ease the pain...is there something I can do to increase the rate of cure?

A doctor can prescribe a steroid based medicine that will help with the poison ivy. Always advise the doc of anything else you're using (like weed) to make sure there's no possibility of an interaction.
