How do you ohms test motor on ge washer machine? appliance repair
You need an ohmmeter or a multimeter (typical combination amp-meter, AC, DC and resistance meter). If you're looking for an open or short circuit in a motor winding, the resistance will be very low, only a few ohms on a working motor, zero for an open circuit and maximum for a dead short.
