No. As I understand it, they use both matter and antimatter to release a huge amount of energy when they collide. The weapons problem is there is so little antimatter available. It is difficult to produce and even more difficult to store. It looks like nuclear weapons will remain the weapon of choice for mankind, at least in the near future.
