What is the meaning of my bf dream

my bf had a dream where he came home from work and I was gone. He searched every where he could think of to find me. His ex gf keep's popping up in the dream but all he want's to do is find me and nothing to do with the ex. What is the meaning of this why did he dream I left and couldn't find me. And why did his exgf keep popping up in the picture?

Dreams really don't mean anything, they in my opinion are just 'mini-movies' of events that have happened recently. I will try to answer anyway, maybe he was thinking about how much he loved you and wouldn't want to lose you and now maybe he doesn't care about his ex anymore.
