I have brown hair and I want to bleach it, if i'd go to gingerish colour, would a toner help me?! :(

Okay, so I've dyed my hair dark/medium brown and I want to go back blonde again. My hair is already damaged so I don't want to bleach it too much so I decided a toner would help. The problem is that I don't know if it's gonna work on ginger or strawberry blonde hair and turn it blonde. Oh, and would I have to buy anything else to mix the toner with??

i went from black to blonde in a matter of weeks..
when I was at medium brown stage, I used a toner and it didnt even work, it just made my hair look even more ginger than it did before.. my advice is, go to the hairdressers and get it done there. might be exspencive, but it will be better for your hair than doing it yourself.
my hair was mid-arm length (inbetween my shoulder and my elbow) and after bleaching it I had to get it all cut really really short because even after I had finished messing with my hair it would snap when being washed and whenit was wet it would go all stringy and like chewing gum.. aaanyway, bleaching your hair is very bad, but if you are really set on doing it, go to the hairdressers and get them to do it.. hope I helped
