What should I do about him?

hey everyone.
so theres this guy in my grade and he's really cute and i've liked him for 3 years and I have to say last year it seemed like he actually liked me. he used to always make me laugh, he would ask me to dance at all the dances I went to, and the way he smiled at me had me floating on air...but now we're not in the same class and its like all of that last year never happened and i'm completely invisible to him. alsooo, my bff likes him now and at the last dance I was really hoping that he would ask me to dance but he didnt!!! I was so mad and the worst part was that he danced with my best friend the one who likes him!!! she kept bragging about it the whole rest of the night and I ended up having a terrible time. :( someone please give me advice on him I still really really like him and I just need help. thank you:)

Things may come to those who wait but only what's left by those who make things happen. When you see him unoccupied, walk up to him, grab his hand and say, "I thought you'd never ask" as you drag him out on the dance floor.
