An Actionless Action

Can someone identify any aspects of Wu Wei that would be practical in the busy lives of city dwellers, especially those living in the West.
Also Please explain whether or not you think that Wu Wei would be a reasonable way for a person to live his or her life. Could someone explain why or why not it would be reasonable for you personally.

Thanks so much to all for any help :)

Whether you live in the East or the West, you're a CEO or herd sheep for a living, if you live long enough you eventually become the product of all of the choices you've made in your life. In making decisions, one should always ask themselves what happens if I do nothing? In some group decision processes, considering the "no action" option is required.

It would be difficult for me to adopt one philosophical principle to all the choices I make. What has always worked for me is:

1) Try to understand as much as possible about what I'm deciding.
2) Consider all of the options available.
3) Make a choice and move on.

Doing that efficiently is important. Some studies have shown that successful people (people that accomplish their goals) make decisions quickly and are very slow to change once decided. People that don't meet their goals, most often take forever to make up their minds and change often.
