"Going out" always costs more money than just "hanging out." :-)

You can hang out at home, a friends house or the park for example. "Going out" would be to a restaurant, a movie or a club.

thanks thats a good one:)
Going out could have different meanings according to the person's view point.

However my belief is.

I. Going out is dating, relationships, etc.
II. Hanging out is friendship. We're friends, maybe in the process of dating.

However in some cases going out could be.
I. We're going out tonight "Name" and I to the park. Then Tomorrow I am going out with my "sister" and her friend, "Name" to the movies. So you see what I mean?

Good examples. Sometimes going out isn't relationship idea. It's how you look at it.
