What does a paralegal does?

I am doing a work assignment for class and needed these questions as well answered from someone who is either a paralegal or works at a law firm:

1. Discuss your professional background?

2. Discuss the area(s) of law in which you works?

Typical Work Week
1. What general job functions do you perform? Be specific. Give an example of a“typical” work day.

2.Give examples of the kinds of cases or issues on which you works. You can zero in on 1 or 2 projects and what you were doing on those specific projects.

A paralegal works under a lawyer and does what work that lawyer is willing to assign. The lawyer has to put his/her name and reputation on the work product so no two paralegal jobs are the same either in routine or areas of practice.
