Your Desires

Can somebody explain what they think their life would be like if they did not make decisions or act on the basis of their desires.
Thanks ;-)

I would LOVE to be at a level where I would not make decisions based on what I want for me, me, me.

I think such a person would not lay around and do nothing, but would work for the sole benefit of others without attachment to praise, comfort, or a need for personal gratification, etc.

If you don't act or decide based on your desires, you do nothing. The world is driven by what we want for ourselves, our family and friends, our country and for mankind. It's the basis for both our accomplishments and our conflicts.
