Well, you could:
A) Give something new a try and put up your hair. Maybe try it at home to see if you can get used to it, or check out YouTube for up-do tutorials to try to find a look you like. Or,
B) Tell everyone, "No thanks, I like my current style."

Either way, it sounds like you need to learn to be comfortable in your own skin regardless of what your exterior looks like and what the flavor-of-the-month is in your environment, and learn to put much, much less emphasis on what others think about your appearance. There's no easy way to do that (unfortunately, it's just a part of growing up), but developing self-love and acceptance is the best thing you can do to save yourself a lot of unnecessary strife now and in the future.

Sometimes it's just being so used to something. I wear and glasses and once ive had them for a few hours I start getting comfortable, and when someone asks me to take them off I feel naked.

It's important to feel comfortable so if your hair being down inst harming anything than I think its okay. Just tell people that that's how you like it or that when you put it up it gets messy quickly or your neck gets cold.

If you really have to put it up ex: outside on a summers day in gym or in art where it could get messy. Try playing with it the day before to see what style you can put it up in that's acceptable for the situation and your tastes

Just Remember you are beautiful and don't need to hide behind anything. Hair, make up, glasses, or anything :) God bless n good luck
