Think I might be pregnant but the home test said negative.what should I do?

I began taking the pill awhile ago but haven't been consistent with taking it on a regular basis, so my boyfriend and I usually use condoms, but sometimes we used the pull-out method. He didn't pull out in time one time and the condom got stuck inside me a few times within the last month. I was supposed to get my period a few days ago but I didn't. So the next day I took a preg. test and it came up negative. I took another one the day after that and it still came up negative. I'm only three days late but I'm worried because I've noticed a white discharge coming from my vagina as well. I also am feeling a little queasy off and on these days--it feels like hunger but worse and food doesn't make it go away. I'm 21 and I've never been pregnant, I'm not exactly sure what morning sickness feels like. I'm not sure if I should wait it out for my period or call my gynecologist. What should I do?????

If you have no reason to believe the two test were done incorrectly (time etc.), I would believe the test. If you have reason to doubt the test, then go to the doctor.

Anybody that is sexually active should clearly understand the answers to all nine of the questions on planned parenthood's teen web page:

well you are pregnant if the result test are negative, that may have some reasons and that called fels negative, that mean that you are pregnant but the result test are misleading.this is normale many womens had the same ,the only thing that you can do is to make an appointment with an OBGYN doctor and they will do a blood test .

From what I understand, a blood test at the OBGYN will give you a more accurate answer sooner than a urine test.

As for the lack of consistency using the pill, you might want to check out if something like one of the rings or an iud might be a better choice for you. The rings are changed monthly, and the iuds are changed every 7-12 years depending on which you choose. Both are great methods for someone who wouldn't otherwise be consistent taking the pill.
