Is damn a bad word?

It depends on the usage.

When used as an expletive, it is commonly considered to be a word that should not be used in "polite" company or by children because many think it is rude or vulgar.

When your talking about damnation, as in divine punishment, then it is not commonly considered profane.

fuck is a bad word but damn I don't think so people always use this word like shit ,holy crap and what elso it's normal to say it .for me I say it all the time when I get angry .

It depends on the person. My parents would never let me use it but some parents allow there kids to use it. I personally don't think that it is a bad word.
