How do you know when a guy is lying.

A few days ago a guy told me that he likes me more than any girl he has ever liked. I dont know how much I believe him. I know that I want to believe him. We talk a lot on facebook but not that much in person. It is really easy to lie through a message but its harder to lie in person face to face. how do you know when a guy is lying. Or how do I find out.

Even if you could give him a lie detector test, it wouldn't mean anything. Lots of people say things like that and really mean it when they say it but circumstances and people change.

Statements like that are nice to hear but don't stake your future on words. The way to tell if what he says is true is to see what happens over time. If he means it, he will bond with you, try to understand you and stick with you through good and bad. How it works out will depend on what you do as much as what he does also.
