I shipped an IPad to Ukraine using eBay and I'm having problems!?

The buyer opened a paypal claim and he said he hasn't received it yet. I shipped it using USPS priority flat rate enveloped with bubble wrap July 2nd and I have a customs number. I contacted USPS And they said they can't track packages outside of us to Ukraine and that their is no time frame, what should I do? I'm scared and confused

Anytime you ship anything anywhere that you expect to be paid for, you have to have proof of delivery. That is a question to be asked of the shipping agent at the time you put it into their system. What does the "US" in USPS mean?

If it hadn't made it out of the US and you had purchased insurance from USPS that could have been a glimmer of hope. But, it seems there isn't much you can do to avoid issuing a refund since you can't prove whether or not the buyer has it without proof of delivery.

Next time, either use DHL or another company with international tracking and insurance, or list your items for domestic shipping only. USPS is never a good choice for shipping anything of value outside of the US.
