How do you do analysis with spreadsheets? And what are some of the features?

I need any detail information for both these question if that is at all possible but any help would be appreciated because I cannot for some reason find any information on the web so plz someone help.......thank you all :-)

A spreadsheet stores data in a multi-dimensional array arranged in columns and rows. They have built in functions that allow manipulation of the data. MS Excel supports VBA, an abbrievated version of Visual Basic that allows you to enter your own formulas.
