Don't worry, I was also overweight when I was your age. As an example, at one point in my life I was over 230 pounds with no self esteem and hatred towards myself. Honestly the best thing to do would not be to go on a diet, but do a life style change. Try to cut out the bad foods, i.e. any greasy, salty, or filled with sugar. Try to exercise everyday. I took up running every morning when I woke up, and I would go to the gym 3 times a week.

As a side note, I am glad that you want to lose weight for yourself and no one else.

Look sweetie,
I am going throught the exact same thing as you, except I started secondary school three years ago and I still have not lost the weight, simply because I am not doing it for the right reasons. I am trying to lose weight to show people I am pretty and I can look attractive.

You on the other hand are doing it for the correct reasons for YOU and only YOU never try to do something for someone else when it does not have a guaranteed positive result. I hope you don't mind but I would feel better to put all of my advice to you in steps.
STEP 1: Know what you want and why you want it
STEP 2: Get into a positive mindset, have the 'I can do it and no one will stop me from doing it' attitude.
STEP 3: Eat a healthy balanced diet, now this does not mean cutting out fats, salts and sugars alltogether just reducing the amount of all of these things you eat.
STEP 4: Excersise regularly, not only does this keep you fit AND helps you lose weight but it also helps you relax, releases natural endorphins and hormones into the body A.K.A. 'happy hormones'. I personally would recommend yoga because not onlt does it help you tone your body it helps relax and calm you.
SETP 5: Don't get bored, shop around for different classes in your area when you feel you have had enough of doing the same thing. I always got bored of going on my treadmill everynight at the same time for the same amount of time, so I went looking for different classes and now I can ice skate and I go to Zumba classes.
Step 6: NEVER GET DISCOURAGED! Keep confidence in yourself and think if you can do this you can achieve anything you want if you put your mind to it.

One final thing I have to say to you is that only you can take responsability for your actions and if you think you will fail you will. We as humans are only limited to what we think we can do, if we think we will achieve our goals we will, if we think we will fail we will.
I hope I have been able to help you and I wish you the very best of luck with your weight loss.

Honestly, I'm large. Weighing 98KG's right now, but honestly, the key to loosing weight is indeed motivation in my opinion, I've never been bothered to loose weight until recently, because my friend has had the same problem, he hardly ate and only ate healthy, now his like 30KG's, so yer he is actually helping me loose weight right now.

Even though it sounds ridiculous this is what he said;
"Eat a small breakfast without milk(so 2 weet-bix with no milk), don't have lunch and for dinner have one tuna sandwich"
I'm taking it up even though skipping meals isn't the healthiest thing but if you don't work out or go for runs and want to loose weight, all I can say is eat less like I'm trying to do.

I hope this helps you and goodluck :)

Actually if anything skipping meals can just damage your routine even more, try to eat normally but healthy. No one can tell you exactly what to eat depending on your allergies, likes and dislikes and also most importantly your BMI etc.
Please don't skip any meals or if you do decide to skip meals always drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and keep some friut or healthy snack bar with you.
I lost over 100 lbs... the standard way. I just ate healthfully (tons of fresh veggies, lots of fiber, lean proteins, grains, etc.) and exercised (6 days/week alternating cardio and weight training days). I went to a nutritionist and worked with a personal trainer until I was ok to go on my own.
