Well it's not going to make much of a difference because if you tell her you like her and she wants to meet up how are you going to speak to her face to face if you are too shy?

Anyway I would probably just get to know her a little bit first if you don't already and if you do just try to gently explain to her that you like her more than just friends, then she will feel comfortable with you being gentle with her rather than just screaming I LOVE YOU! over facebook.

do not ever tell a girl I like u face to face coz maybe she will turn over and never tolk to u but tray to know her more about her self what she love or hait this stuffs. and maybe one day she will tell u who knows.

What works best is to avoid the tension for both of you in telling her you like her. Just show her you like her by giving her a lot of attention and offering to help her any way you can. Comments like, "Wow, you look good in that outfit" or even bolder, "I think you and I would make a great couple, what do you think?" said with a big smile on your face. That way, if she rejects the idea, you can come back with, "I was joking, I'd never date you." :-)

i think you should just be subtle . I mean if its facebook we're talkin about , then chat her and be like "hey" and just talk to her more often . once she knows more about you , she'll probably be more comfortable with saying yes when you ask her out . (:
