Im having more time with the dog then the bird

hello bout a mouth ago I got a new dog pure breed shitzew (cant spell it) and I love him so much but right behind me is the bird (indin ringneck) and he loves attention. I have found that indin ringnecks love attention if they dont get the attention they want then they go wild and will bite and his starting to do that and my problem is why do I spend more time with the dog then the bird?? the bird will be around longer then the dog? and before I loved the bird and gave it everything a bird could ever wish toys treats go for walks in the back yard, why do I love the dog then the bird can someone help me why???

Shih Tzus are really cute doggies. It's obvious that you care for them both. Maybe you're just more into the dog at the moment because he's new. Just be conscious of the bias, and make an effort to share your time with them equally so they both feel happy, loved, and wanted.
