Should I show him the real me?

Should I show my crush the real me?
You see it's been 4 years and I have never showed him the real me. Now I realise if I had showed him the real me then maybe he would understand me more and it would be a whole another advenutre. :(
Do you think I should show him the real me?

Yes. Always be authentic. It takes too much effort to pretend to be anything else. That doesn't mean you have to spew every thought that enters your head... but don't pretend or hide...

"The real me" is too vague to understand what you're suggesting. In a preteen relationship, to tell him some of your secret thoughts would be fine but don't take anything off beyond possibly your lipstick. There are many life changing risks to getting into adult behaviors too soon and there are no risks to getting in too late. Pace your development by what's smart, not what others are talking about.

Well, ya.. I mean of course you should be yourself, but really it doesn't matter much, I guess- as long as you're comfortable with however you're acting around him or anybody really...just don't be like...going as far as making up your life as something its not;P...or lying:)

yes ma'am you should ! if you really like the kid , I think that you need to go for it . he won't ever know the real you otherwise , and once he does , he'll feel more comfortable talking to you , and possibly hanging out with you (:

I think you definitely be open and yourself in a relationship. I don't have much experience but I know that the only way it could work is if it's not based on lies and pretending. If he doesn't except the real you then it's not worth it anyway
