Moving to England. what should I be mindful of?

weather patterns, clothing, lifestyle, people...
how not to look like a foreigner...
what is considered taboo...
all that would help please...

(I've read that in england they don't say 'pardon me' when they have not heard something... 'pardon me' in what they say when someone has passed gas... what do they say then when they have not heard what someone has said? and excuse me is used when someone belches... so how do you ask someone to move politely?)

I don't have any personal experience with this, but here are two sites I found that seem to have helpful, credible info. Cheers.

thanks :) that last one came up as a threat on my anitvirus! hahahaha, oh well, i'll only check out the first one then ;)
Hmmm.... good to know. My antivirus said nothing. Good luck.
When you move away from your homeland, the first month or two are an adventure with a lot of new people and new experiences. When that wears out you miss being home and it becomes a downer. It's tempting to make comparisons like, "The way we do it in the US is..." or to criticise your new country. Understand your new country is the way it's always been, it's your new life that's different.

The "dip" period is a normal phase everybody goes through between the adventure phase and settling down to your new life. It doesn't affect everybody the same way but we all feel some of it. Once you get past that, you will be fine.

You must mind the gap there.
