I have a double tooth on my left side and it hurts really really bad how can I fix it?

I have this double tooth of my left side in my mouth. It really hurts and I cant chew on that side. It only started otday and I am seriously about to punch someone cause it hurts that much. Is there anything I can do to help get better and stop hurting?

There are products on the market for temporarily easing tooth pain but for a permanent solution, try "punching" the dentist's telephone number on your phone.

If it continues for several days, or if your face starts to swell, go to the dentist. Those could be indications of a more serious infection that could affect your airway.

Also, I recently learned from a pharmacist that ibuprofen is better for tooth aches than any of the topical dental pain relievers. She said all those pain relief ointments are a waste of money and that it's better to get at the pain from the "inside."
