If I have a glan or glean in my throat like and it's a lump like on the bottom is it bad?

I have a glan or glean on the bottom of my throat and it's a big lump and I asked my mum and she said if it doesnt go away in a week go to the doctor. I am really stressing out and I dont know why. Is it bad? And how can I get rid of it? And would my singing voice sounding really weird have something to do with it?

If you can feel the lump from the outside it could be your thyroid gland might be becoming enlarged. If it's from the inside only and your voice is changing, it's affecting your larynx, whatever it is. If it's only been there a few days I'd suspect it's most likely laryngitis. That's like a cold or a virus that settles in your throat and causes those symptoms. I agree with your mum.

A good policy is not to worry about what you think it might be, wait until you know what it is. You'll have a lot less to worry about. In the meantime, breathe warm moist air, drink hot tea and don't make loud noises and strain your voice.
