How can I transfer all my text messages from a Samsung E1120 into a 3G SIM card?

I have my text messages stored in my mobile's memory (Samsung E11120), and the actual SIM card does not have the capacity to store them all. So, I got a 3 G memory SIM card to transfer the messages into it. However, I was able to transfer less than 20 messages. Is there any way to save my messages into the 3 G card or shall I get another? Any other solution?

The problem may be due to 3G SIM cards only being compatible with 3G handsets. I'm not familiar with the E1120. Is the handset 3G?
