Friends and Bullying

So, I can't believe we live in a world where my friend has to put up with this...

My friend goes to school every day in Mississippi, and her school has been voted, and I quote, "worst school in Mississippi"

The reason: Her school is a bullying zone. There's no zero tolerance crap to save her, and the teachers and principle wont even listen to her. She has told me she puts up with the following.

"In school my friends pull my hair and call me names. Because I don't believe in God, I'm called a satanist, a satan worshipper and a witch. If I report it, either nothing happens or both me and the bully(s) are suspended because they said I did something. Also, I got asked out by the school perv, which isn't good. He touched my butt while passing me in the hall o.o . Also, if I talk to my parents, they don't even try to help."

Is the world really going so low where no one can help a victim of so much bullying? I'm asking anyone to please help me with a solution to this....

When it gets to the point that the people in authority (principal, police etc.) are unwilling to do their job, we're at the edge of of anarchy. If that is the case where she lives, I'd suggest organizing the public to go after the local elected officals to get a handle on the situation. They can fire principals and police chiefs until the situation changes.

Organize a group of concerned citizens, put up a web site explaining the problem then call the local media and get the ball rolling. There is nothing that will build a fire under a politician's butt quicker than a meeting full of angry voters.
