I have a sandisk memory stick duo adapter that I've used several times before.

I have a new Acer Aspire laptop that I want to upload photos on. The problem is, when I insert the memory stick nothing happens. On my other coputer it use to open a window asking what do I want to do with photos. Can someone give me some advise please?

It sounds like the Autorun files have been deleted from the stick.

Assuming you're using Windows, Load Windows Explorer [Not Internet Explorer], click the arrow on the Address Bar at the top and find the "Removable Device" in the list and click on it.

Hilight the files you want to move, Right-click and select either "Cut" or "Copy."

Navigate to the folder you want them in, right click and select "Paste." Shazam!
