Eating problems

I have been struggling with eating, sleeping, and exercising right lately....for the past year.
-I am on a vegetarian diet, but I know I am not doing it the healthy way (substituting meat)
-I have noticed that I am becoming more sore and tired.
-My options are to either continue being a vegetarian, but the right way or go back to eating meat. The problem is that I want to not eat meat, but in the back of my mind I know that I enjoy the taste of meat.

Don't be stupid like I was. If want to stick with a vegetarian diet, you HAVE to do it the healthy way.

I've been either vegetarian or vegan for over 12 years. During part of 2009-2010, I was totally overwhelmed and stressed. I ate like crap. Somehow I managed to be a vegetarian who hardly ate vegetables... unless you think cake, cereal, and macaroni and cheese are vegetables.

I got weaker and more fatigued. I got to the point where I hardly had energy to get out of bed, and when I did, I needed a nap by 1pm. I was so anemic my body didn't have enough blood to have a period; my blood volume was only 75%.

My fiance moved thousands of miles to take care of me. When he dragged me kicking and screaming to my doctor, I needed a blood transfusion. I was malnourished. I had a severe B12 deficiency.

I recovered from all of that on a proper vegetarian diet with iron, calcium, protein, fiber, etc. My doctor instructs me to continue taking the multi and iron and B12 supplements.

You can try different meat subs, like tempeh, Quorn, anything Boca, etc. I'm not a doctor, but I bet if you eat better, you'll feel better. http://www.vrg.org/ has extensive nutrition information and recipes.
