How would I make a random slide show with music?

I am making a slideshow for my family reunion. I have many slides and to hold the interest of the grandkids/great grandkids I would like to show them randomly rather then chronologically. How would I do this?

I'm not sure about how you want the random presentation done but either Microsoft Power Point or Open Office Impress will both do that. Typically you insert the photos in the file in the order you want them displayed and the program runs the show in that order. There are many options.
