It's essentially a fluid filled sac on a testicle that requires an outpatient surgical removal. They can remove the fluid with a needle but the sac will usually refill. As long as they don't have to cut the tubes that supply sperm. Talk to the doc about that.
Cysts are possible at all ages but being young improves your chances of it not being a problem. Most important, don't feel uncomfortable about asking the doc about anything that's bothering you about it. Docs look at your body like a mechanic looks at your car. You can as them anything and never come up with a question they haven't heard brfore.
