Am I an Aryan?

I have blonde hair, green-blue eyes, and light skin. Am I an Aryan?

The term "aryan" has taken a severe beating beginning with Hitler's theory of a super race and since then by racist groups claiming to represent whites. Words are symbols for ideas and present day usage generally produces a negative, white supremist image.

The traits you describe are likely Northern European but the way the gene pool gets stirred in the US, who knows, you could have a little tooth fairy mixed in too. :-)

Some historians and anthropologists would say you're just as much an Aryan as you are a tooth fairy.
