Do I need a permit to put up a lost sign?

I live in the area of San Gabriel, California. I just lost my dog and i'm planning on putting up lost signs. I was wondering if I need a permit to put up a lost sign. And if there is anything I can and can't put on a lost sign.

We already put up lost signs. Not too much cause of my mom. She only wanted to put up 6. I don't think it's enough. My family and I already Checked the Animal Humane Center. We didn't find him there either. There is also an animal center in alahambra but they send the animals to a different shelter. I don't know where he could have gone too.

I've never heard of anyone needing a permit to do that and I couldn't find anything just now when I did a quick search. I did find these tips:
