CD Burning

I want to ask about how to make VCD .. I have a movie that is .MKV file . But when I burn into a CD my video is not support the format .. So , what format did I supposed to convert ...

You can burn the file on a CD as a data file but it will not play on a DVD player. The person viewing it would need compatable software to view it. MKV is one of many video container formats. The simplest solution would be to convert it to an AVI. That format will play on most every computer and converts easily to DVD formats if that's what you want.
