Who is the Republican presidential candidate in 2012?

It's a little premature at this point. Romney, Gingrich, Pawlenty, Trump, Huckabee and Barbour all seem to be doing warmup exercises and who knows about Palin?

From my experience at the racetrack on a rainy day, there's often a big flatfooted "mudder" with 30-1 odds that was made to run on a wet track who comes out of the back of the pack and leaves the whole field behind. At this point though, we're nowhere near post time.

I could make a much better prediction if you asked about the Democrat. :-)
