Why do I keep going back to him?!

It is so annoying I give up on him then I keep going back to him,. He curses and pushes me around. [ were not dating] It's like something inside of me keeps puiling me back. How can I get over him

Well, this seems rather weird to understand but if I had more then i'd give a lil more. To what it seems like, you are somehow attached to this guy. There is something deep down, that keeps attached to him. To get over him, what I would do to get over a girl is to stop thinking about her. Don't talk to her as much, and tell myself that she is not as important in my life and I have no need what so ever to keep trying with her. Try doing this yourself. It might help.

To get over him, you could think about how you deserve something better and how you shouldn't settle to be with someone who curses at you and shoves you.

I have been in that same predicament. Me and my ex went out about 5 times (no lie). And he was mean and cruel and abusive. But I would always give him another chance. I finally got over him. But there is really no method. It just takes time and patience. But whatever you do, do not go back out with him. The more you date him the more you will be drawn back to him when yall break up again.

Maybe it isn't actually your heart that likes him but your hormones?
If so, just be his friend and go for someone else.
