Is this normal? Do I need help or something?

All the time I feel like someone just died. My chest feels empty and I always feel like crying for no reason. The only way to make me feel better is to do something really amazing to me to fill the empty spot. Then it goes away again and im back to feeling lonley.

This is possibly depression. I've been through a great deal of it for 2 years. I suggest you find someone close who you can trust, and just talk to them. Have them look into your past and see if anything you, or the people around you have done anything to affect how you are now. If this keeps going, then you should go talk to someone like a therapist, or a psychiatric. When you feel like dying, just think of what you have ahead of you. And try talking to someone from a suicide hotline or online chat.

I feel that way when I have nothing to do. What's always works for me is to stay busy. There are so many things we can get into that gives us goals and a sense of accomplishment. Things like learning to play a musical instrument, art, making things, sports or even an interesting job. Getting involved is also a good way to meet people and improve your social life.

For me the best way to keep from feeling "empty" is fill my life up with things to do that makes me feel good when I've made progress with them.
