I currently have cops AND social workers on my family because my mom abused me. Will they for any reason go through my computer files and chat records? Thanks

If the computer is your property and you don't have anything in plain view that would give them reason to believe you are committing a crime, they can't search it.
If, in the process of a criminal investigation, they have reason to believe there is evidence pertinent to the investigation on your computer, they can present their probable cause to a judge and get a search warrant. They have to explain what they are looking for and how it is related to the investigation.
