Who do I believe?

myself and ex partner broke up 16months ago. We did have a gd relationship but he was never home, he was always going out to his mums house or fixings friends car and I trusted him a million percent never thought he was cheating at all. But when we broke up (which was an easy break-up and the only regret in my life), he started hanging around with a girl that is his friends ex girlfriend. Now I dont no for certain but he is with her most of the time and when shes not around he comes to mine we have a laugh and carry on and he always talks bout how much we did and how much he misses me and loves me. This confuses me so much because I really do still care and love him so much. But when she is in the picture he never calls or comes around. What do I do, there has even been rumours and more than one that they were actually dating but he always denys this. If it is true why is he not telling me does he want me back or is he seeing this girl??

The definition of a player is someone who wants to enjoy all of the assets without suffering any of the liabilities of a relationship. As long as he can get away with playing the field, nothing will change. By allowing this to continue, you're just making your own life more uncomfortable.
