How do I stop Capital One from sending me unsolicited credit card offers?

I received tons of mails from Capital One and other banks, it's so annoying and they're wasting papers. It appears that they won't stop sending them if I don't respond. Is there any way I can stop all of this unsolicited offers?

Asking the postal service to cut out any form of junk mail woulld be like asking a starving man to throw away his sandwich. Junk mail makes up a huge percentage of the postal service's declining income so they're not going to stop it and the reason businesses send it out it is that it's profitable.
