My doctor prescribed both Diclofenac and Diclofenac potassium to be taken . Is this safe?

Should Diclofenac and Diclofenac potassium be taken together if your doctor prescribes it?

You can call your doctor's office and let them know you have concerns about how your prescriptions will interact. Be sure to tell the doctor or nurse you speak to about EVERY medicine (prescribed or not) that you are taking. Ask what the symptoms of adverse reactions could be. You can also get a free second opinion from your pharmacist.

Unless your doctor holds a Phd in classical literature, I'd believe her/him over what you might be told by a parrot on EHelp. :-)
