From the New Poland Express:

"Poland has been named amongst the top corrupt European countries - only Romania and Bulgaria are worse. According to Transparency International, two out of five managers have at some point offered a bribe to public officials.

But the general public appear not to be fazed. A recent poll conducted by CBOS highlighted that only 4 percent of Poles strongly oppose corruption and 98 percent believe official matters can be dealt with using cash. "
