I'm really confused about this girl! please please help me!

Well I'm a 8th grade girl and this girl which is in 6th grade I'm not sure if she's bi or gay , well she's only in my drama/dance class and thats like the only class I get to see her besides ressece and lunch, well a few weeks ago it was like freezing cold and then she came in the drama room and I was talking to my friend and out of no where I just hear her call my name and she comes up to me and hugs me tightly , she did that about two times.. last time we had to dance I had to dance with her for a min or two (Salsa) she told me I'm so stiff so she squeezed my hands all smiling as she leaned foward a bit but I took a step back and when we were dancing she was giggling and she told me that she heard of what I said about her cause I said she looks smart, pretty, and funny cause I know one of her friends and I was talking to her friend and her friend told her that which is true and when she was telling me that she was all smiley , and sometimes I catch her glancing at me , like there was this one time that we were all sitting down on the floor and she just kept stareing at me with a smile on her until I waved hello and she made a bigger smile and turned a different way and then I turned to see if she was still stareing but she was just glancing , and then another day past and we were sitting on the floor again and she was with me and my friend , and I don't know if this is normal or not but she put like her hand behind me like on the floor I don't know if you understand what I'm talking about but she did that, and she's always like besides me or infront of me or in the back of me in drama , o yeah and this has happen a few times before already that me and my friends would be eating our lunch in a table and the girl who I think likes me is in one table ahead of us and then they turn around and glance at me and they'll say something about me , and I'm not even stareing , last time me and my friend were walking down the hallway and she was a few feet from me and my friend and her friend and her turn around but she kinda smiles at me ,and also sometimes it looks like she wants to talk to me and I catch her glancing at me , and today we were dancing and we had to be like in a line and she was telling me where I'm supose to be which is behind her so she like touch my back for a min or two it was so weird and I heard when a girl likes you she makes excuses to touch you and this is the confusing part she likes this guy which is confusing!Because it looks like she likes me but I don't know? Or is she making it up about liking this guy , she told my two friends she hasn't told me she likes that guy .. so what do you think? any advice?

If you're only 14, I think you'd better think about learning how to dance well better than to be thinking about the girl, if she is bi or gay... Please attend your class and don't worry about that kind of things now. You've time enough to be in love you're too young for our society and our century to be worried about that kind of stupid questions. Let her dance, let your teacher do the class, and take profit of a good physical exercice. You'll see you have no time to think about nothing else.

Ah! One more thing. When somebody or yourself will really be in love .... you'll know it. It comes from inside, it's a pure and marvellous sensation that invades all your body.It comes from heart, but your mind tells you: "that's it" and you know you're right. Don't desparate.

I reckon she's bisexual or bi-curious. Either way, I think she really likes you and if you want to go out with her try asking her out or coming out to her. Hopefully if you come out to her it'll encourage her to ask you out but if not I still think you should go for it! Good luck!

Well, I personally, from this story, think that she likes you. However, I don't know how your school system works but in mine it goes elementary is kinder to 5th, then middle school is 6th to 8th and finally high school is the remaining 9th to 12th grades. So, even though it may not seem like it now, two grades is a large distance apart at your age. Next year, you will be in a different school. You might want to consider this before making a move. Now, if you don't care about this, then go for it! She obviously has a thing for you, so I'd make a move soon before she loses interest. And if she says no, oh well. There are better and bigger fish for the catching and you don't have to talk to her for a while (if your school system is like mine, that is. Let me know if its not...) Above you said you wanted another way for you to figure out if she likes you. Well, let's take a big step back first and find out if she is even attracted to girls, and if she is (wether or not she knows it) would she be willing to date one right now. A good way to do this is get her alone at some point and into a conversation and then ask her if she's ever thought about kissing a girl or anything like that. Or maybe you could sing a little bit of Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" randomly and then branch off into convo from there. Then if your results are positive, you can make your move. If they are negative, that sucks. Better luck next time. like I said above, there are bigger and better fish to be caught. Good luck and remember to weigh your options before making a decision.
