What is electromagnetic transmission ADC

Can someone please tell me what electromagnetic transmission automatic data collection technology is? Thanks you if you can.

That would be data that is collected automatically at a remote site and transmitted via radio waves to another location to record it. I assume by "ADC" you mean analog to digital converter. That is an electronic device that would convert values like the depth of water or the amount of voltage to numerical values for the transmission and further processing.
