Computer terms

Can I please get a short definition to these terms, "data input" and "data capture." I can't seem to find the definitions to these words on the web. I searched google, yahoo, etc but haven't turn up anything. Please help. Thnks :)

Data input you basically type into the computer, or load via a file. Data capture is where the computer reads sensors like in a factory or laboratory.

Thank you for the help, but I need something alittle more detailed if you can.
Data input: The means by which data is passed to the computer. There are various possibilities here: 1) directly from the keyboard, 2) from another file which is read for this purpose, 3) from the internet by downloading data, etc.

Data capture is the process of collecting data for some later use. Data can be captured via various channels; electronic, face to face, physical mail and telephony.
