Democratic rights are the right to vote for the government you live under; freedom to say what you believe; to criticize the government etc. They are derived from your country's constitution.

Human rights are rights that the world considers basic to every human being regardless of what their constitution says. The rights to life, to not being enslaved or put in jail without fair judicial process.

Depending on where you live, the two concepts often overlap and sometimes conflict.
