I need some help with a word.

So i'm working on a paper for class and I need a word that means the following : a person who believes that a god exists but doesn't follow a religion. I wasn't sure if it was agnostic but the definition doesn't quite fit what I need.

Many individuals call these types of people Deists. A deist is someone who believes that God created the universe or "set the ball rolling" and then left it and all whom inhabit it to their own devices basically. I would love to hear back from you about this hope it is a correct description.
